The best beaches and coves in Ibiza

The best beaches and coves in Ibiza

It is common to hear the word Ibiza and that we directly relate with parties and discotheques of international recognition. But Ibiza is more than just an island of partying and debauchery. The island also has a wide variety of beaches and coves of great beauty and charm, where you have to make an almost obligatory stop.

During the following blog, we are going to introduce you to some of the best beaches and coves in Ibiza, which differ from each other for different reasons.

Basa Cove

With an extension of 250 meters in length, we find Cala Basa. This beach is known for its fine white sand and shallow turquoise blue waters that resemble a swimming pool. It is surrounded by pine trees and restaurants where you can stop to eat and have a refreshing drink.

Es Cavallet

This beach is 2,700 metres long and is one of the largest in Ibiza. It is located in the Natural Area of Special Interest of Ses Salines.

This beach is very popular for nudism as well as being the reference beach of the LGTBIQ collective. The beach can be divided into three zones. The first one is the closest to the car park and the restaurants on the beach. The second is the nudist area and the third and farthest is considered the “gay area”.

Its wild space, surrounded by dunes and vegetation and its clear waters make it perfect for lovers of water sports.

Saladeta Cove

This white sand beach, 75 metres long, is one of the most beautiful in San Antoni. The months of July and August are the most frequented.

Cala Saladeta is a natural landscape and wants to continue to be so, and that is why there are no services of any kind, but its refreshing turquoise waters. We recommend that you bring your cooler with plenty of provisions for that long day on the beach that you are going to spend in this little treasure of Ibiza.

Cala Boix

We leave the beaches and coves of fine white sand, to pass to Cala Boix. This beach of barely 100 metres is characterised by its ash-coloured sands.

Perhaps it is not the most paradisiacal beach of all, but it is one of the closest to the urban nucleus. In addition, it is not usually overcrowded in the summer months and you will always find a place to place your towel and umbrella.

Beach d’en Bossa

And we come to the last recommendation of this post with Playa d’en Bossa. It is the most popular and known of Ibiza due to its proximity to the Bora Bora club, as well as being a place where there is party and atmosphere constantly.

A beach 2,700 meters long by those who parade daily during the summer season all the major clubs and clubs of Ibiza to try to attract the public to their dance floors. An authentic performance to the rhythm of the music and with very daring outfits that attracts many people.
